AUTHOR GUIDELINES

1. Macabéa – NETLLI’s Electronic Journal accepts for publication only unpublished original manuscripts – written in english, portuguese, spanish or french – that are not being reviewed by other publications or published under a different language. The manuscript must fit into one of the following research fields:

- Literary studies and theory of literature;

- Studies on Linguistics;

- Reviews of literary and scientific works published in the last two years about literary theory and/or linguistics;

- Translations of scientific works that are still untranslated in the language chosen by the translator (preferably portuguese, spanish, english or french).

As Macabéa is commited to the variety of scientific research, the authors can only publish a single article every two numbers of the journal (an author can't publish more than one article in a single or consecutive numbers), except in exceptional situations judged by the editors.

2. The manuscript submissions must be made by an user logged in this website (which is maintained by URCA’s Journals Portal) through the option “[New submission]”. In the next pages, the author must indicate the section appropriate for the submission, upload the manuscript, fill the submission’s metadata with the authors’ names, e-mails, institutions, country, an abstract of the authors’ biographies, title and abstract of the article, funding agencies (if there are any), and any suplementary documents may be uploaded (if needed) so the submission process can be concluded and confirmed.
