Estruturas de ficção nos jogos de ausência/presença em Oranges Are Not the Only Fruit e Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close

Em Oranges are not the Only Fruit e Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close encontramos obras pós-modernas de literatura em língua inglesa com protagonistas que se apoiam estruturas de ficção para dar sentido ao trauma que vivenciam em suas próprias realidades. Jacques Rancière, em seus vários escritos sobre literatura, aponta para o potencial da ficção em munir-nos com essas estruturas e definir o que é ou não apreensível no empírico que nos rodeia diariamente. Nesse artigo, reflito sobre o modo como ambos os romances se valem dessa mesma lógica estruturante na construção e subsequente superação do trauma por meio da redistribuição do sensível que lhes é particular.
